BULMERS POINTE
Bulmers Pointe, BC Canada
2009
Bulmers Pointe draws inspiration from the Arts and Crafts Movement of the early 20th century, evident in its timber frame construction. The design incorporates elements reminiscent of Greene and Greene designs, a style that is also reflected in the choice of furniture.
This home embraces a contemporary open-floor concept that maximizes living space. A unique feature is the third-floor sleeping loft, accessible via a ladder in the living room. The kitchen includes a guillotine window that opens up to the dining patio, enhancing the sense of openness and connection to the outdoors.
Facing the lake, the house boasts three large sliders on the main floor and three on the lower level. These sliding doors create a seamless indoor/outdoor experience, allowing guests to fully appreciate the surrounding natural beauty.
